Demoland, based in Chania, Crete, was created by Christos Evangelou and Maria Manousaki with a clear vision: to offer dog training that is not based on imposition, but on knowledge, respect and true communication. What sets us apart is not only our technical training or experience. It is the philosophy behind each session and each relationship we build.

At Demoland, we do not apply general standards. We treat each dog and each family as a unique case. Individualization is not a luxury for us – it is the basis of our work. We recognize the uniqueness of each animal, the owner’s daily life, and adapt our methods to truly suit their needs.

Our approach is holistic. We train the dog not only to “obey”, but to live in balance, to coexist, to feel safe. At the same time, we also train the human: to understand, to communicate, to respond responsibly. This creates a bond of trust that stands the test of time.

We invest in our continuous development, following modern, scientifically proven techniques and rejecting any form of violence or psychological pressure. For us, ethical training is non-negotiable. All our methods are based on understanding, consistency and strengthening the human-dog relationship.




	Furthermore, we are a pair of professional trainers, with a shared vision and full dedication to each dog we take on. Personal care and direct contact with our clients are a value and commitment for us. We do not offer impersonal services – we are present at every stage, from the introduction to the completion of the program. Our specialization in working breeds, such as Malinois and German Shepherds, allows us to manage dogs with high demands and energy, whether it is for guarding, or for sports or work training. Finally, we stand out because we are by our people, not only in Chania, but throughout Crete and Greece, and even abroad through online support. Especially for families moving to Crete from abroad, we offer guidance and stability in a critical transitional period for themselves and their pets.
